Acts of selflessness tend to grow into selfishness. People tend to take what they have for granted. They lose sight of the value of what's at hand and constantly demand more; a vicious cycle. There's no point in second chances or reconciliations. It's as good as being sucked into a whirlpool. Save yourselves the time and effort, learn and let it be. Some times the best alternative is the only alternative, there's no more room for making mistakes. I sincerely hope for growth in the majority's minds, that they will come to understand the future through the past and get through the present. Wounds heal in time, and when they do, things will get better. They always do.
